澳大利亚商会-上海AustCham Shanghai三十周年庆典

On August 29, 2024, AustCham Shanghai proudly celebrated its 30-year anniversary, sponsored by ANZ Bank and at the Shanghai Qiantan Shangri-La Hotel. This milestone event was a tribute to the enduring partnership between Australia and China, as well as the collective success of our vibrant community. The event was attended by over 450 people, with over 150 members, 50 Australian Government, and over 70 Chinese Government from 7 different provinces.

8月29日，澳大利亚商会-上海在上海前滩香格里拉酒店举办了由澳新银行冠名的盛大30周年庆典。本次活动庆祝了澳大利亚与中国长久而紧密的合作伙伴关系以及我们活力社群的辉煌成就。此次庆典吸引了450多人参与，包括150多名会员、50名澳大利亚政府代表及来自7个省份的70多名中国政府代表。

The evening began with a walk down AustCham Shanghai and ANZ Bank’s history walls, before joining the celebration with sharing booths and cars from sponsors, creating a level of excitement before the curtains opened into the main hall for the night’s celebration.

庆典会场大气辉煌，活动正式开始前，宾客们在明亮开阔的展示厅里欣赏了澳大利亚商会-上海三十周年的历史墙和澳新银行的历史墙。随后，宾客还与各赞助商的展位和汽车展位互动，与新朋结识，与旧友叙旧。

The event officially opened with a warm welcome from Simon Woods, CEO & Executive Director of AustCham Shanghai, who reflected on the Chamber’s growth and the strengthened ties between Australia and China.

活动正式开始时，澳大利亚商会-上海的首席执行官兼执行董事林世文发表了欢迎辞。他回顾了商会的发展历程，并强调了澳中关系的不断深化。

Heidi Dugan, in her fourth term as Chair, followed with a speech highlighting the achievements and the unwavering support from the community over the years.

随后，连任四届董事会主席的Heidi Dugan发表了讲话，重点介绍了商会所取得的成就及来自社群的坚定支持。

Chris Raciti, Country Head China for ANZ Bank and the event’s naming sponsor expressed ANZ’s commitment to the Australia-China relationship and reaffirmed its dedication to navigating future opportunities with agility while thanking AustCham Shanghai for its contributions.

作为三十周年庆典的冠名赞助商，澳新银行中国行长Chris Raciti表达了澳新银行对澳中关系的承诺，并重申了对敏捷捕捉未来机遇的信心。同时澳新银行也对澳大利亚商会-上海的30年来的贡献表示感谢。

Since establishing our presence in China in 1986, ANZ has remained committed to fostering strong ties between Australia and China and creating opportunities for businesses to thrive in this dynamic market. We look forward to continuing this journey alongside AustCham Shanghai, reinforcing our shared commitment to deepening the economic bonds between our two great nations and driving sustainable growth together.”

Special congratulatory messages were also delivered by Senator Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism of Australia on behalf of himself and Senator Penny Wong, Minister for Trade Foreign Affairs, and Australian Ambassador to China, Scott Dewar.

John Williams, Australian Consul-General in Shanghai, spoke on the night, reminiscing of AustCham Shanghai stories and the strong support and relationship between the Australian Government and AustCham Shanghai.

澳大利亚-上海总领事John Williams在晚会上致辞，回顾了澳大利亚商会-上海的历史，并强调了澳大利亚政府与商会的互相支持与紧密联系。

We were honored to have Xue Feng, President of Invest Shanghai, deliver a speech emphasizing his extensive experience in international trade and his role in the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement negotiations. His remarks underscored the importance of Shanghai’s global business environment and its impact on Sino-Australian relations.

我们也荣幸邀请到上海外商投资促进会会长薛峰发表讲话，分享了他在国际贸易领域的丰富经验以及在中澳自由贸易协定谈判中的重要角色。他的讲话突显了上海国际商业环境的重要性及其对中澳关系的影响。

AustCham Shanghai extended heartfelt thanks to the Australian Government for its enduring support by presenting appreciation plaques to key representatives, including the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Austrade, the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, Australian State Governments, Tourism Australia and Aussie Beef & Lamb. Equally, AustCham Shanghai showed their appreciation to over 20 Chinese government departments from across four provinces, for their crucial support to the Chamber.

澳大利亚商会-上海向澳大利亚政府表示衷心感谢，并向包括澳大利亚外交与贸易部、澳大利亚贸易投资委员会、澳中基金会、澳大利亚各州政府、澳大利亚旅游局和澳大利亚牛羊肉大中华区在内的关键代表颁发了感谢牌。同时，澳大利亚商会-上海还向来自四个省份的20多个中国政府部门表达了感谢，感谢他们对商会的关键支持。

A captivating sand art performance highlighted a journey from Australia to China, showcasing dreams and professional experiences with Bubs, Shanghai BD Group, Ant Group’s WorldFirst, BlueScope China, and ANZ, supported by AustCham Shanghai.

一场引人入胜的沙画表演展示了从澳大利亚到中国的旅程，展现了由Bubs、上海宝德企业集团、蚂蚁集团万里汇、博思格中国区以及澳新银行和澳大利亚商会-上海合作支持的梦想和职业经历。

A significant highlight of the evening was the announcement of an exciting new partnership between AustCham Shanghai and China Eastern Airlines, supported by member, FCM Travel, bringing global and domestic discounted flights to our members and their employees.
